Threads of Life asks its walkers to pay a registration fee to offset the costs of the walk which includes a lunch, refreshments and T-shirt. This allows us to dedicate the money raised from the walkers to go directly into Threads of Life family support programs and services.
Corporate Challengers: $50 for a team of 5
Each of the 5 participants commits to raising a minimum of $100 in donations/pledges. Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 fundraising teams across the country.
Registration closes Friday, April 27, 2012 at 12 noon EDT.
Individuals, Families and Rally Teams qualify for the Early Bird rate if registered prior to
April 13, 2012. Registrations received after this time, up to and including the day of the
walk must register at the regular rate.
Please note: registration fees are not eligible for a tax receipt.

Individual (includes families):
Adult (19-64 years): $15/person
Youth (14-18 years): $10/person
Children under 14: FREE
(Children and youth must be accompanied by a parent or guardian).
Seniors (65+): $10/person
A participant over 65 years of age is considered to be a senior. Seniors can self-declare their eligibility for the discounted rate. No verification is required.
Rally Team:
Team of up to 10 participants: $100

Your fundraising dollars
Last year the Steps for Life walkers raised enough money to help us subsidize the costs of sending family members who have experienced a workplace tragedy to an annual regional Threads of Life Family Forum.
We were able to cover the costs of registration, hotel accommodations and meals. The forums offer these families the opportunity to come together, remember their loved ones, share, network and ultimately heal.
“After going back and forth I decided to go. I say to myself ‘I’m here now’ so in I go. To my surprise when I entered the lobby I meet two couples I know (whew). I attended all the sessions and workshops I could. When it was time to leave for home I was saddened because wonderful people had made me feel at home and made me comfortable in a strange place. I even think I may have formed a friendship or two here. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to attend this wonderful weekend. I needed it.”
