Welcome to the 9th Annual Steps for Life Walk 2012
You can register to walk, volunteer, attend to support the walk or sponsor a walker. Everyone is welcome!
Individual, Corporate Challenge and Rally Team registration and pledge forms will be available in February 2012 for the 2012 walk.
Suggested fundraising target: $100/walker
Last year the Steps for Life walkers raised enough money to help us subsidize the costs to send family members of a workplace fatality, life-altering injury or occupational disease to an annual Threads of Life Family Forum. We were able to cover the costs of registration, hotel accommodations and meals for families participating in the forums. The forums offer these families the opportunity to come together, remember their loved ones, share, and ultimately heal.

- The pledge form (pdf) is used to collect donations from your supporters prior to your walk. When you arrive at the walk site, just hand in the form and payment for processing.
- Register as a RALLY TEAM!
Rally Teams can include your family members, friends, co-workers and their families, students and other groups that like to walk for a cause, support workplace health and safety, and fundraise. If you’ve been personally affected by a workplace tragedy, entering a rally team in your local Steps for Life walk can be a meaningful and positive way of honouring your loved one. - Corporate Challengers
We’ve heard from you and taken action! Steps for Life is now offering a Corporate Challenge program for company leaders who want to engage their employees to make a difference and help a good cause. The program features team entries from trailblazing companies who want to show their commitment to workplace health and safety and are walking to raise funds for families of workplace tragedy. Corporate Challengers form a small team of 5 individuals, with each individual committing to raise at least $100 each, with some fun team benefits.
If you are not interested in the Corporate Challenge program, you can also register as a Rally Team. We welcome all fundraising efforts and there is no minimum required for Rally Team members.

Please indicate on your walker donation form which city you will be walking in.
The 2012 Steps for Life brochure, and poster to post in your workplace for quick and easy event and sponsorship information. Most walks will be on Sunday, May 6th, but check your location details to find date, time and venue information in your community.
