Registration Fee: Threads of Life asks its walkers to pay a registration fee to offset the costs of the run that include a lunch, refreshments and t-shirt. This allows us to dedicate the money raised from the walkers to go directly into family support. Last year the Steps for Life walkers raised enough money to help us subsidize the costs to send family members of a workplace fatality, life-altering injury or occupational disease to an annual Threads of Life Family Forum. We were able to cover the costs of registration, hotel accommodations and meals. The forums offer these families the opportunity to come together, remember their loved ones, share, network and, ultimately, heal.

HOW TO REGISTER (updated May 3) ON-LINE: for May 8 walks If you haven't registered yet for a May 8 walk in Calgary or Windsor, you can still register on-line. Please arrive on-site with donations collected. Everyone is welcome! BY FAX: for May 8 For participants in May 8 walks you can still register by fax up until Thursday May 6 at midnight but please bring payment and funds raised to your community walk (do not put in the mail).
