Your time is valuable! Please track the time committee members
(and other volunteers) invest in planning and holding your
Steps for Life walk. An easy way to do this is record volunteer
hours at each planning meeting and have one of your
committee members tally and submit the
Volunteer Expense Form-Steps for Life [PDF] to your
Regional Development Coordinator.
Donations of goods or services, rather than cash, are said to be
‘in-kind’. Please track any in-kind donations for your Steps for Life
walk on theĀ In-Kind Donations Summary form [PDF].
This includes any donated services or materials that assist your
committee in planning for the walk, including meeting space and/or
teleconference service (if not using Threads of Life’s teleconference line),
photocopying or printing, meals sponsored by an individual or employer.
For goods or services provided by a business/company, contact your
Regional Development Coordinator to find out how to have a charitable
receipt issued for their donation.
